Basic full circle skirt for woven or stretch fabrics. Pattern features optional roomy scalloped pockets and two waistband choices.
View A is for woven fabrics and includes scalloped pockets and wide waistband, View B is for woven fabrics and includes a narrow waistband, View C is for stretch fabrics and includes an elastic waistband.

This is the first pattern I've used and it gave me so much confidence to use it and try others I've been wanting to try. I've created 5 skirts from this pattern so far, with many more planned.
I really enjoyed making this circle skirt. I made the wide waistband version and added the lovely roomy scalloped pockets (though you can hardly see them because of the pattern!). My partner was a great help in levelling the skirt before the hemming! I enjoyed finishing the skirt with bias binding on the hem (even though it was a LOT of bias binding to make). The instructions were very clear and this was easy to cut and sew, especially in this crisp ankara (Dutch wax) cotton.
I've never sewn outside pockets before and love how this skirt looks and fits.
I know this isn't the intended purpose of this skirt, but I make costumes for a ballet school and this pattern works really well for this purpose. We are a size inclusive studio, so it's great to have the curvy sizing option. Instructions are simple and clearly written. Love the stretch variation!
When I purchased this I did not read the sizes. It was user error but as always the instructions were very helpful and i with this print ranged from xs all the way up.

I enjoyed this pattern. I used my bestie as my fit model and she loves it, I did it in a burnt orange woven fabric wide band version. Now she want another one 😁 Thank you for this great pattern.
