Such a cute blouse pattern with great and easy-to-follow instructions!
It was a very easy pattern and turned out great. I wasn’t sure at first because there are no darts but I used a very fluid fabric and it was fantastic.
I love my Sudley! I used forest green silk that was gifted to me. In my mock up version I found I needed to size up—and my finished version is delightful! Very easy to understand instructions.
The Sudley is a perfect fit according to the measurements and a pleasure to sew. It's the little details that make this pattern so special - I can't wait to try each variation! The collar is so sweet and the ability to mix and match and turn it front to back makes for a million patterns in one. LOVE!
This is a very simple, easily hackable pattern with the cute addition of the keyhole detail. The instructions were clear and it was very well drafted. I would definitely recommend this pattern, especially for beginners as there’s very little fitting to fuss with (no darts!)
The Sudley dress and top pattern is a beautiful pattern with easy to follow instructions, with pictures that help to understand each step. Love Megan Nielson patterns and will buy lots more. Love that they are Australian as well.
Very pleased with this pattern, I've already made a top, dress, and started cutting another top. Very versatile with all the built in options and easy to hack on top of that! As a beginner, I found the instructions to be quite clear but the online sewalong gets rid of any lingering uncertainties :)
Easy to understand pattern. Could have used some more detailed instructions/pictures on how to sew on the bias binding.

The sudley pattern is definitely a new favourite! I can see myself making many variations of the pattern due to the versatility of it. I love the sweet keyhole opening and the neck ties. My first Megan Neilsen pattern but it won't be my last. The directions were clear and when I had issues I looked at the sewalong on the blog for help! I made up View C dress in a viscose fabric and added in seam pockets and waist ties, just using the neck tie pieces. I didn't line my dress and the bias binding made a lovely neat finish inside the neckline. The pattern was a pleasure to make. I think I'll lengthen the bodice a little on my next one but can't wait to try out the different sleeves and the lovely collar!

I love all of the variations that come with one pattern!
I’ve eyed off this pattern for a while and I’m not sure why I haven’t bought it sooner! I made a straight size 10 crop blouse which is my usual RTW size and the fit is great. I’ll definitely make more of these- I’d like a tiny bit more room across my shoulders but that’s an adjustment I usually have to make with any pattern. The Sudley is a really quick sew for the perfect simple work blouse.
Easy to make and so classic and comfy!
I'm a newer sewist and this was my first fully-lined dress so this may be my lack of experience but some of the instructions were a little difficult to follow. I made two wearable toiles of the top plus my goal view C and still am not sure how to best attach the ties and the pattern doesn't help with that. However, other than that issue, it was fairly clear and a lovely, loose dress.
I’m obsessed. The first Sudley shirt I made took a bit because I was super careful and now I’m doing different variations (included in the pattern or my own). I love the directions and the actual pattern, they’re both easy to understand and use. I’m so happy I came across this website. My only change to the actual pattern is I made the shoulders a bit wider as I have wide shoulders but otherwise pattern is perfect. Also the shirts I’ve made are good for any occasion. I love it with silk and other woven fabrics, the drape is amazing! It’s such good value with all the different styles that come in this pattern.
This is the most beautiful dress I’ve made. Great instructions made for a simple sew. I just love how I feel wearing it.
