Durban Curve Jumpsuit & Romper Pattern
Durban is the jumpsuit you'll reach for again and again - one piece that fills the void on days you don't know what to wear, comfy enough to live in and stylish enough to go anywhere. Mix and match a V or round neckline, sleeves or not, and tapered, wide or romper-length legs, with roomy pockets and a tie or D-ring belt. Named after the town where I was born and inspired by my mother's rompers, it has a loose, easy fit in light to medium weight wovens like linen and chambray.

This pattern is so lovely!! It’s very versatile and can definitely work year round. I recently had a baby, and for me the jumpsuit being both nursing friendly and no tightness on my changing waistline are so perfect. The instructions are really clear, so even though this was one of the more advanced projects I’ve tackled, it felt really do-able each step of the way. I also use the bodice and added a gathered skirt to make a fun little dress!!!! I highly recommend this gem of a pattern!!
Good overall fit for me. I enjoyed the sew and for a change it was something I wanted to make for me not a piece of clothing I “needed”. Good job on the design. I made it sleeve less out of a lightweight denim so it is trans- seasonal. The fit is nicely tailored and not so big I feel like I am wearing modified men’s work coveralls.
