Great value again

Love me a pattern at a reasonable price, easy to follow, and multiple views, may make these into shorts for summer if it ever gets here.

Ash jeans

I really like all the options. The instructions look thorough and I love how advice is given to test your top stitching and bar tacks. The size range is great.

I guess I’ll have to make another pair

I didn’t realize how many steps there are in making jeans! Lol. I made these and put them on a few days later and now I don’t want to take them off! The fit is amazing! The directions were very clear. I made the flare version and couldn’t be happier. I’ll probably make one version of every style. I did my usual fit adjustments- adjusting for sway back and crotch depth/shape preferences. I can’t wait to make more!

Great instructions, took all the hard work out of sewing these jeans. They fit so well!

Ash - thoughts after first musslin

I am still searching for the perfect pair of jeans.
So, for the Ash Jeans (straight leg) I need to say that for the first time the crotch was almost perfect! However, I had to add half an inch of length in the back.
I have prominent and inwards turned thighs and slight knock knees. And so far I did not yet find a useful alteration to get rid of the ugly wrinkles on my knees.
(If anyone does, please help!)

What I particularly like is that you have full leg pattern for all 4 styles. And how the fly is sewn in. Instructions are easy to follow.
The placement and form of the front pockets is really good. However I do prefer the pocket stay to go all the way to the center front. Looks better from the inside and it helps to visually flatten the belly.
I will soon make another musslin and hopefully this ends up to be the perfect Jean pattern for me!
