View A is a dress with long sleeves and waist ties. View B is a blouse with long sleeves. View C is a cropped blouse with short sleeves. View D is a sleeveless dress or blouse.

Very nice dress pattern! Sewing was quite easy. I made a fully lined sleeveless dress following Meg’s tutorial for Karri dress and it turned out great. Thank You!
I sewed up one of these dresses in a knit for my pregnant sister; she loved it so much that I ended up making her two more within a week!
I recently made one for my gf, and added the tie. It's such a great pattern, I highly recommend it! The knit instructions aren't *as* clear as the woven, but still easy to follow. If you don't like the asymmetrical hem, it'd be easy to change it to a straight one.
This was a quick and easy pattern which gave a very elegant result. I made the sleeveless version and drop the neckline slightly.
I’ll have to confess that when the Floreat first came out it was not love at first sight. For me I just wasn’t sure about the asymmetrical hem. It came out alongside the Wattle, Dawn & Jarrah and a stockist in the U.K where I live had an offer on if all four patterns were bought so basically that’s how the Floreat came into my collection. It’s funny how things work out isn’t it because I’m still to make the Dawn and the Wattle even though I keep meaning to but the Jarrah and Floreat have been made more than once. There’s a lot of versatility with the Floreat and I’m naughty in that I haven’t tried all the many possibilities but have steadfastly stuck with a version I adore. It’s with the bonus knit instructions and I traced round the pattern so I could use the other styles at a different time. Trouble is I got a little distracted and unbeknown to me I traced the back of the blouse and the front of the cropped blouse, sewed merrily away then got thoroughly confused when the sides didn’t match up. I decided to continue with the top anyway and just sewed the hem with a longer back than front because I thought it would cover any bulges around my waistline, Result! It worked for me. Anyway, although my version is not strictly a traditional Floreat I love wearing it. So much so that I made two others with the accidental stepped/longer back too. I need more of these in my wardrobe, they’re on my To Do list. The instructions are as usual easy to follow and the drape from the excellent drafting on this pattern makes this top so comfortable to wear it’s become my most worn top. Nicer than an ordinary tee shirt and with a bit of flair it’s the perfect top for me. The sizing is great, not too big on my shoulders. Can you tell I live in these? I use an overlocker and a sewing machine. The fine jersey used for all three of these tops proved too much of a challenge to use a twin needle without tunnelling so I used a zig-zag and was pleased with the patterning. I’ve tried to show the accidental stepped hem but my photography skills need a lot of work!
